(The reason I'm not using VS 2022 stable for my production VS, is that I uninstalled it while trying to solve a problem involving WinUI3 (Windows Desktop app) launch profiles in 2022 Preview - I was making 100% sure that there was only one version of 2022 involved. Xamarin Studio and Xcode must be installed on the Mac. ![]() (I prefer to do certain tasks in a stable VS, not the PREVIEW one.) If you want to create iOS applications using Visual Studio, you must have a Mac machine available. The team also strongly recommends using the latest Xamarin SDK and Xcode whenever possible. Two years ago this month, we made some exciting announcements about the future of Xamarin.One of those announcements detailed the open sourcing of the Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Mac SDK.
